Hello JABBers!!! This
issue is very special as it marks our third anniversary as a group. It
was three years ago tonight that JABB started in the old AOL-TBAA
chatroom. We'd like to thank you for being part of this group. The
following are some of the emails we've collected that we feel best
exhibit our time on JABB. Enjoy!

Hey Audrey!
I'm so excited about this idea! Do you think people will go for it?
Have you heard from anyone yet? Wouldn't it be amazing if we hit, like,
40 members?! I just hope my parents don't ever find out about this! LOL
I'm not sure I want them knowing they have a crazed, obsessed fan for a
daughter... yet. Worse yet, what if John ever reads this?!? I would
turn bright red if I knew he had! Oh my gosh! Oh well, there's at least
one person we won't have to worry about... Andrew! At least he's fake!

Hey Jenni!
I still can't believe we're actually going through with this!! I got 5
responses. That makes 10!! Can you believe it?! Do you think it'll
really last? Only time can tell. Anyhow. I'm not quite sure how I'd
react if John ever read it. It'd be kinda cool and really freaky at the
same time!! Anyway, got an ideas for this first issue?!?!

It's gone... I can't believe it... I miss it all ready... OH JOHN!!!
THE HAIR!!! WHY HAVE YOU DONE THIS TO ME?!? LOL Okay, really I'm okay.
I'll miss the long hair but, sheesh, I'm not that dramatic! (Here's
hoping I never am! Scary!) It'll at least give us something to write
about in our *second* issue. That's so cool. I can't believe we're
actually doing this. I'm not sure if it'll last. I guess just have fun
with it while we can!

Hey Jenni!
You're NEVER going to believe this!! OMG! I found out what happened to
his hair!! But I can't tell you right now. It has to wait because there
is NO TELLING who might be reading our e-mails and I can't dare let the
secret out. So, on to something more sharable. Let's work on JABB.
Here's an idea: We update the keepers list and then there's this poem
I've been working on. I'll send it later.

Can you believe that? John actually emailed us! I guess I know now how
I'd react if John emailed: amazed, surprised, but not horrified. How
are you holding up? I can just see you jumping up from your puter and
pacing around the kitchen. So exactly how many times have you had to
stifle your screams? =)

Did you just see that?! Andrew appeared on TV! It was like a news show.
And then a demon came! But who cares about a demon. Do you get what
this means?! Andrew *is* real! First, John contacts us and now this!
And this whole time I thought I could be as goofy as I wanted to about
Andrew and he wouldn't know! He's real!!!!!!!!!!! I think I'm gonna
die! Oh wait, no, then I'd see Andrew even sooner! How are we gonna
explain this to him??? Geez, what do you think John must think about
this? I better go. I need to go somewhere and scream really loud.

Jen,
It'll be okay. Trust me. I think we need to worry a lot more about the
hundreds of new members we'll get thanks to this new revelation rather
than freak out about Andrew scorning the group. I bet you anything
he'll really think it's fun. He's seen an awful lot in his time, this
prolly looks like nothing.

Hi Aud,
Wow, this is our first Dye Day as a group! Actually, my first Dye Day,
period. I never much considered it anything to celebrate before. Heck,
I have a hard enough time planning my own birthday celebrations! But
anyway, you think Jarrod had any idea we'd actually turn this into a
celebration when he wrote that Top Ten? Just goes to show you, don't
say anything in jest on J.A.B.B.! It just might be taken seriously! :-)
The chat was great, it was so exciting to chat with people who we'd
only heard from in regards to subbing and "official" stuff. Anyway,

Hi Audrey,
Boy, is it a relief to get home after our stay in that awful cellar of
Kiwi's! And so soon after settling in Dyeland, too. I hope my parents
never find out about that. If they do I'll prolly end up with a
detestable nanny or something. And me, 17! Although, having John come
running in to rescue us was quite nice. It's nice to know our own
Chiwawa is so resourceful also. And he has a girlfriend... I think I
hear wedding bells!

Hello Audrey,
Well, I guess there's no hiding my admiration for V any more. When he
showed up yesterday morning I think I lost any ability to hide. But he
*did* show up to rescue us from Cliff's spell. He is a dependable sort.
Oh please don't be mad! You haven't said anything or answered my emails
since we parted after Cliff and John and V left. It's not that I like
Andrew or John any less. I just... I don't know. Well, at least the
wedding went off well. Sorry.

Jen,
I just haven't been online very much with school. Senior year can be
really hectic, as you know. I still think you're a traitor. I suppose
even traitors deserve mercy though. =) I'll forgive you just don't let

Hi Aud,
Was yesterday not the weirdest thing ever? Although it was rather
enjoyable watching Victor fawn all over you. LOL I can't believe I said
his name, though. Oh well, after Kiwi enchanting he and John I don't
think anything will look strange any more! That was just utterly
unbelievable. Amazing, yesterday I was about to go insane over the two
of them and now I find it utterly hilarious. Hmm, maybe this will help
me keep things in perspective. You know, like not freak out about
things too much... Naw, I don't think so. We all know how I am. :-)
Well, I hope you get some rest today. I'm staying here at home to get
my bearings back. I'll be back in Dyeland next week.

Hi Aud,
I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate you, John, and Victor
helping me get my memory back yesterday. I was so scared. JABB means a
lot to me and I hope I never, ever trully forget it. Dyeland's become
like a second home to me. I am a little saddened by Victor's departure.
I don't deal well with change. But I admit, I'm very excited to have a
new person move in. I hope it is who I think it will be!

LOL It feels so cool to say that! I suppose you think it's odd that I
email when I saw you both just a few hours ago at Andrew's party. I'm
just so excited! Andrew, I can't believe you'll spend part of your time
in Dyeland now! And just two buildings away! (Do I sound obsessively
scary enough? I can say more. :-) Seriously, I think this will be
really, really fun. My parents even like the idea. Apparently, they
think Andrew's more dependable than you and me, Aud. Imagine that!
Sheesh, he's only... how many more hundreds of years older than us? :-)
I am so excited to get back to Dyeland, it'll be a blast working
together, the three of us. I'm sure all of JABB is just as psyched!

I just wanted to thank you again for standing up to Kathleen at the
Christmas party. I still feel really stupid about letting her in. I
guess I just wanted to believe things had changed, I still think one
