Hi all,

Happy holidays and merry Christmas!  I hope you're all doing well and celebrating in the ways you love best.

I have decided to do something a bit different this year.  I'm not actually doing a Christmas newsletter... I'm doing a twelve days of Christmas newsletter!  If you click on the snowflake on the tree below, you can read the story for Christmas day.  (Fair warning: It's a sad one so plan accordingly.)  Then, starting on December 26th and through January 6th, a snowflake will be added each day.  Just click on the snowflake to see that day's offering.  It could be another vignette, it could be a game, it could be something else entirely.  I'm going to try my very best to add the day's snowflake by 7 AM Central every day.  But in case that doesn't happen, just check back later.  Again, this officially starts on December 26th so no need to check back tomorrow.  This page won't change again til the 26th.

As for what you can expect, the short stories range from family drama to rom-com to devotional.  One story even gets a bit Gothic and leaves the canon behind entirely!  All of them share the common theme of a "first Christmas."  That could be the first Christmas with someone, without someone, a literal first Christmas, first Christmas in a new place, etc.  The only two that connect will be the one shared today and the one I'll post on January 6th.  All others are stand-alone. 

I spent a stupid amount of time making this tree and am a little concerned it won't work even though I tested it on three different devices (and big thanks to Sierra for testing it on theirs).  So if this idea appeals to you but you're having trouble with the tree, just let me know and I'll email you each day's link.

If nothing else, I hope this gives you a bit of a break during this hectic season.
