Hi all,
Welcome to another short one! I hope your week
is starting off well. No snow here so that's a
good thing. Still no sun, though, so that's why
you get this sunny looking newsletter page. ;-)
So I know I'm not the only one who was totally
thrilled when news of the impending DVD release (July
30th!!!) of Touched's eighth season came
shortly after Season 7's release. I think we
gotta celebrate that! Enjoy!

9. Seeing Andrew be all
adorable and awesome with the kids
in "Winners, Losers, and Leftovers."
8. The many hairstyles of
Andrew in "The Sign of the Dove."
7. Andrew actually getting to
rule the roost in "The
Grudge." About time!
6. Yet another chance to try
and figure out what the heck is
going on with "The Face on the
Barroom Floor." My current
theory? Monica had a really
bad trip after ODing on
caffeine. The entire episode
actually took place in her head
while she was blissed out in the
back of the caddy as Andrew and Tess
stared at her and talked amongst
themselves:
Andrew: Do you think anything's
going on in there? Like do you
think she's dreaming?
Tess: I don't know, baby, but this
is the *last* time we leave Angel
Girl unattended at the Folgers'
plant.
Andrew: Why is she mumbling about
buttons now? Do you think
she's dreaming about an
assignment? If she is, I hope
it fits in with our actual
timeline. How frustrating
would it be if it didn't?
Tess: Very frustrating...
5. Andrew's wardrobe in "Thief
of Hearts." Is it just me or
is that not one cuddly wonderment
ensemble after another!?!
4. Actually developing an
interest in astronomy... at least as
long as Andrew's scenes in "Bringer
of Light" last. Planetariums
have never been so alluring.
3. Spending "The Invitation"
fantasizing about making like
Elphaba and Fiyero and liberating
that poor lion with Andrew.
Okay, maybe that's just me...
But really... that lion was
wronged!!!
2. The Fedora
1. Andrew AND Adam!
Chillaxing! In a pub! I
want to go to there...

7. Those absolutely gorgeous shots of Andrew
backed by the field in "Heaven's Portal." Wow...
6. Another chance to see Andrew cart Doogie Howser
aka Barney Stinson around!
5. Spending free time you don't have pondering
just what about the words "The Perfect Game" is so
attractive that the TBAA folks felt the need to use them
twice as episode titles.
4. Having a good chuckle over the fact that Andrew
knows what spike heels are.
3. Seeing the world's cutest alien since E.T.
2. The utter sweetness and loveliness of Andrew's
interactions with Benny in "A Winter Carol" and the way
he tears up a little as he drums away at the end...
1. Knowing that we're only one announcement away
from being secure in the knowledge that ALL of TBAA will
be on DVD. C'mon, Season 9!!!
This newsletter is dedicated to John's smile. No
matter what was going on, seeing him smile either as
himself or in character made things seem
sunnier. And that's still true!
