Happy TOTGA Day to everyone!  I hope you’ll enjoy these little blasts from the past.  As we neared the 10th anniversary of Andrew’s premiere TBAA episode, I challenged members of the JABB YahooGroup to share their first memories of Andrew or tell what their fictional counterparts might do for Andrew to mark this momentous occasion.  Well, I ended up with one of each.  Hope you enjoy them.  And if you read this and would like to add your own take on either, please feel free to email me and I’ll add it on.

God bless,
Jenni

Liz shares her first recollections of Andrew…

I don't recall if I first saw 'Andrew' in TOTGA or not. I do know that I did see him in 'Til We Meet Again' and thought "Mmmm this could be interesting". I did wonder at first if John was going to be just guest staring as Andrew on occasion the way that Charles Rocket did with Adam.

No matter, I liked his acting and his looks were great (I daydream a lot so this just added to the dreams I already think about - I rarely recall any dreams I have at night so I daydream lol). I think one downfall were his eyes. Whenever I check out a guy, I always look at his eyes and smile (plus a few other things).

It's been a joy and a treat ever since.

Jenni tells what Lady JenniAnn (with a lil help from some friends in high places) might do for Andrew to mark the 10th anniversary…

Thankfully, no one was around to witness the strange scene of Lady JenniAnn traipsing about with a blindfolded Andrew behind her.  Adam walked beside him, guiding him past the occasional rock jutting from the ground.

“Why can’t I know where we’re going, again?” Andrew asked, running his hand through his hair a bit worriedly.

“Cause it’s a surprise!  Just trust me, Andrew!”  JenniAnn laughed when that comment made Andrew looked even more concerned.  “Okay, well, trust Adam.”

Andrew smiled amusedly and shook his head.  “Hey, what’s that noise?”

“You’ll see, my friend,” Adam responded and they continued on for a few more paces.

“Okay, you can look now,” JenniAnn announced when they stopped.

Andrew took off the scarf and stared at the massive form before them.  “It’s… but how did you… the exact one…”  He was clearly choked up.

Adam and JenniAnn looked pleased with themselves for eliciting such a reaction.  “Ten years ago tonight ‘The One that Got Away’ aired.  We asked Tess if the episode was at all factual and when she said yes, set about tracking down this train.  Well, go on inside,” JenniAnn indicated the door and Andrew proceeded in amidst cheers from his gathered friends all ready in that car.

The other two remained outside for a moment.  “So… I don’t think he has to know that this is also the 10th anniversary of my yelling ‘Oh my gosh!!  Who is that?!  Ahh!!  Where’s Adam!?  I want Adam back!!’ do you?”  JenniAnn questioned the angel, blushing as she remembered her dismay.

Adam considered this for a moment then shook his head.  “I think that revelation is more appropriate for, say, the 14th anniversary?”

The woman laughed, “Sounds like a plan.”  Suddenly her face went ashen.  “Oh… oh… uh oh…”

“What’s wrong?”

“I forgot those mini-meatballs after I promised Tess…  Shoot!” she cursed herself.

“Ask and ye shall receive,” Adam quoted and produced a tray of the hors d'oeuvres.

“Turkey-like substance?”

“You bet!”

JenniAnn giggled then the two proceeded in.  Tess sang “The Rose” and the train set off, filled with Androolers and friends.  After Monica shared the story of her first meeting with Andrew, everyone else got up and shared stories about him.  Long into the night they celebrated the episode that had been the start of bringing many of them together.
